Antiquity

Small porcelain objects

Goshogoawara, Japan, 2007

Curator: Riozo Mitsumia, Japan

Exhibition topic: Correspondence with imaginary archaeological findings

About my work: A group of miniatures, resembling antiquities, created during a month of residency in Japan. The works are made of porcelain and fired in a wood burning Angamah kiln, a fire that gave them the ancient look.

In few works I combined silk threads made by a Japanese textile artist.
